Default Softail Swingarm Replacement

Thinking about adding a chrome swingarm to my heritage, anyone every try this themselves?
How difficult? Special tools needed? I have a Service Manual, but thought I would ask here first if someone has actually done this they would know the pros and cons so to speak.
Thanks for any advice.

I did one on my deuce. Not bad at all, just buy new bearings for the new swing arm. The shock bolts can be a real bitch to get to and have a ton of loctite on them, so heat up the old swing arm to get the bolts to come free.

You will need a large socket for the long thru bolt that hold the swingarm to the frame - I needed a 3/4 drive ratchet and a very large socket (forgot the size).
