Default Passenger boards for a fatboy ?

OK , I have to find some passenger footboards for my 04 Fatboy so when riding 2-up she is comfy , pegs are not doing her justice . Any ideas ? Now I do not have the stock exhaust so was wondering if I could get some feedback from anybody who has done this .

I've done it on my Heritage Classic and you'd better hang on to your wallet. The issue you will run into on the Fatboy is the exhaust pipes and how they will mount around them. I thought I remembered a adapter kit, but don't know if that is true for the 04.

With the stock exhaust its not a problem. When I changed my pipes, I had to remove the exhaust bracket. It has a spacer that moves your peg out far enough to clear exhaust. With the pipes I put on I had to have some sort of spacer. I cut a piece of 1/2" rigid conduit I think 2 1/4" long to clear the pipes. I just painted it with rustolium to match the frame and it is not noticeable. I'll try to get a pic tomorrow while I'm installing my new A/C.

Kuryakyn is the only one I know of making footboards for peg mount bikes. Here's the ones I put on my Deuce. The number is 7907

i have passenger boards on my 08 fb.

the 07-08 are different mounting from 00-06 and require different support brackets.these support brackets do not come in chrome for fattys. (i was quoted 120 bucks to chrome em) here are part numbers that i used...

for my 2008 flstf...
passenger footboard support (black only) 50399-07
passenger footboard pans (chrome)50752-04
then youll of course need the inserts of your choice. i used the flame inserts

for your 04 flstf...
passenger footboard supports (black only) 50399-05
passenger pans of your choice
inserts of your choice

the whole set up for me, supports, pans, and inserts cost me 315 bucks and that is with a 20% off that my dealer gave me on the set up. msrp would have been 392 bucks. i think the support brackets for the 00-06 cost a bit more than for the 07-08's.

plan on spending 400 bucks if your dealer is a stealer and that is with you installing them.

ahhh... the price we pay for that rear seats creature comfort... lol

Wrong...Stock exhaust and HD floorboards mount just like this:

This is my setup on an 02 and they go in between the stock pipes. The bracket comes with the pans, and I the inserts are extra.
