Default Extended forward controls

Looking for some feed back on the extended forwarded controls. i have an '07 deuce and looking the strech it out a bit more. I'm 6'1" and want the longer leg stretch. Does this impact ground clearance? Any feed back would be greatly appreciated

Same here with the Arlen Ness 3" extensions on a '07 FXSTC.

I'm about your height, absolutely love 'em.

As mentioned, they move the controls straight forward only. Not up or down.

I've had Accutronix 3" extended forwards on my Fatboy since I bought it in 04 and its one of the best mods I've ever done.

I used the Ness kit also, nice setup for the price. As others stated, you should not have any added clearance issues. The only issue I had after the install was the brake pedal. The kit moves everything straight forward, since the pedals operating angle did not change it was a bit harder to fully depress (think having to point your toes/foot down). Probably not a really big issue for most, but I have a screwy ankle. My fix was to add a spacer to the master cylinder to adjust the pedals start point so it is a bit closer to me.

I've got the Arlen Ness 3" extensionson my 07 Deuce, though my pic is prior to that install. I'm 6'2" and they are great, one of the best things i've done. When i first had them installed i thought they might be a touch far away but 6 months or so later i'm thinking i could almost manage them being anohter inch or so away so i can really stretch out - not to say i'm cramped now.

i think longer term i might look at a full controls replacement rather than just the extension kit, but the kit is so cheap it was hard to pass up. Best thing i've done was to have the preload in the rear suspension set to accomodate my weight. If you haven't done that already i'd recommend it.

..sounds like the Ness kit is the way to go..I'll have to look into it. I'd like the extra room myself...
