chrome fork boot covers
I am putting chrome fork boot covers on to cover the black rubber ones. they are the two piece kind with the springs That are suppose to hold them in place. Ialready have concerns. seams like they would flop around as well as scratch the tubes. I was thinking about using silicone to keep them in place. Of course nothing comes with detailed instructions anymore. Anyone have any experience with these? Do people glue these on or what?

RE: chrome fork boot covers
I've had them on my Softail Std. for a couple of years with no problems. Think they make it look a little nicer.

RE: chrome fork boot covers
Have had them on mine also for about 1 year. Look pretty good to me. No movement that I can see. Great add-on for the money.
