Default fellow crossbone owners.

love my crossbones, but i'm confused by the adjustable seat. dealer has no idea about it. i read reviews online and it says 2 position adjustable and others say self adjustable (meaning springs adjust to operator weight?). wondering if anyone here has figured this out yet? thanks

Dude I talked to at the dealer said it is a two way adjustment that moves the seat forward and back. The sales man said you unbolt it and attach it to a seperate bracket to move it.

adjusted mine yesterday, it's in the owners manual, kind of a pain took about 15 minutes but you just flip the spring bracket around and move the front seat tab. Only two adjustments.

is your owners manual an 08 softtail (general) or model specific. dealer gave me an 08 softail ,manual, has rocker info but no x bone info. just curious if I was given wrong owners manual.

Every new bike comes with an OWNERS manual. That should tell. Sounds like youpurchased or got them to throw inthe SHOP manual. That's good, cause you'll need that too!

Should be on page 154 of the owners manual. Can't figue out without taking seat off if mine is adjusted toward the back or the front.
Seating position feels OK ( for the amount of time I have gotten to ride it)
