RE: looking for new 2 up seat
My wife had the same complaints and had to take a break every 50 miiles. Makes it hard to cover any ground doing that [:@]. Switched to a Mustang Classic and now we only stop for gas. It seems like the longer you sit in it, the better it feels and no Corbin-type break-in period either. Just bolt it on and ride

RE: looking for new 2 up seat
I had the same problem with my 2007 Train, bot471. I went with Mustang seat model number 76412 and 76413. As far as I can tell they are mustangs skinniest seats. The passenger seat is plenty big and you can pull it off in the matter of seconds if you want to run solo. They have no problem fitting under the removable sissy bar. I think for 2001 you will need 75230 and 75231.

RE: looking for new 2 up seat
Got my new Mustang seat for my 2002 Heritage about 2 weeks ago. Got a great deal on ebay for the wide solo studded seat with drivers backrest and the passenger pillion for $365. I was unsure if I would like it at first as the seat seems considerably firmer than the stock. Also the backrest pushes me forward about an inch even at its backmost setting. After 2 weeks of riding I have to say I love this seat. It is comfortable for daily driving without the backrest, but with the backrest long trips, especially with my wife on the back are much more comfortable than the stock seat. And my wife loves the passenger pillion much better that even the extra wide stock seat I had put on. Best money I have spent on the bike.
