I'm in the middle of a huge (for me) project on my '07 Nightrain. I have the front of the bike completely torn apart to do some powdercoating and handlebars and it is going to be 60 degrees here tomorrow... F*CK!

Dont feel too bad, two weeks isnt anything. Its supposed to be 30 here tomorrow. I wont be riding for a month

 

Mike, ain't that the way it always goes? I try not to plan anything disabling the bike without checking out the weather @ wunderground for the next week, for just the same reason.

 

i had surgery on my left leg....havent ridden for 9 weeks so far and my therapist i will probably have to wait till late spring early summer to ride....so shush! haha

 

That sucks, man...I remember back in early Spring '03 I got t-boned 2 blocks from home...bike was a total, broke my right leg, still got a 3" screw in there for a souvenir...couldn't ride again till late Fall...man, was I in an evil mood that summer...hated every guy who rode down the street, especially if he had a honey on the back!

 

I guess we are in the same boat, besides im too stupid to post pics of my bike (however they are ina similar state). I guess the only real difference here that makes me feel bad for you is that there is 7 inches of new snow on the ground, the wind is blowing, and its 5 degrees outside of my garage. I won't be thinking about riding for at least 2 MONTHS!

 

Hey! Blackness, I think you need some more parts.

 

Don't worry man there will be others days, just think about how cool your rides gonna be

Thanks guys, I know it could be worse. I haven't ridden since Jan 6th because its either been raining or below freezing here EVERYDAY. I finally scraped up enough money to buy some powder for my powdercoat system and some handlebars. Igot that stuff in Friday, tore the bike apart Sunday and today the weather is great. Oh well that just motivates me to focus on getting it done...

 

Haha, I haven't rode my bike since November! Talk about cabin fever. (it was 9deg yesturday mourning, 14 today)
