Default Changing out wheels and tires this week

Any tips or tricks I should know about? Or is it pretty straight forward?
Thanks

id change the pads if I were you when doing the tires/rims/rotors
inspect them for broken retaining springs or such as well.. fluid levels

Just follow the service guide when changing the tires/rims and you should be fine
Don't need to loosen the axle adjuster bolts.. leave em where they are if they correct
If u haven't had the rear axle out before.. sometimes they can be stuck in there pretty good..
the factory doesn't use enough anti-seize lube on it..
make sure when putting it back in, that you coat it well...

Make sure you use a calibrated torque wretch and follow the recommended settings

then make sure you take it easy on the new pads/tires for the first 150miles..

Yeah. What kind of wheels?

I can't wait to see what you picked!

Mine looked just like yours before I re-did it over!

Thanks. I got 60spoke wheels from black bike. Powdercoated black rim and hub with chrome spokes. 21" front 16" in the rear with whitewalls. It has taken them nearly a month to ship them. Should be here by friday. Was gonna go 18 in the rear but I wanted to show more whitewall. I will post up some pics when I get them on.

as stated before. dont loosen adjusters.anti-sieze axle. something else, (non duel exhaust) if its not already, install the axle from the left side. makes this job much easier the next time.

The biggest snag I hit doing mine was the spacing. Got the front wheel bolted back up and the brake was dragging. Picked up a couple of wheel shims at the dealer and jacked around with them til I got it right. Bolted up the rear and the sprocket draggedon the swingarm. Took it apart took it to a machinist and had .250milledoff the the mounting area and it fit. Use new bolts for the sprocket and brake rotors. I've heard of them breaking after being used a second time.

I ordered a similar setup from DNA last week. Black rim/hub 60 spoke but in 21/18. They called me today and they're on the little brown truck already. I can't beleive how fast they are.
