RE: Derby Cover question (Cross Bones)
That's gonna look great on that scoot.
You may wanna be careful though. I got an aftermarket one and the original gasket did not fit it.
In the end I got a cage mechanic, who suggested using a paste/gook gasket sealent out of a tube. All's been fine since then. But I was kinda screwed there for a while.
I guess if it's a HD one you'd be fine.
I love mine though. .....

RE: Derby Cover question (Cross Bones)
The newer bikes use a kind of rubber ring gasket that's easy to reuse, but its always my "personal" policy to use use a new one if the parts different than the one I take off.
Their so damn cheap its not worth the hassle of fooling with it if you don't have too.
Just stick the old cover, gasket and all in a big zip lock bag just in case you need it sometime later. That way the gasket won't get screwed up and be useless if you need it in an emergency.
