Default Any ideas on AC cover? NT

I've been watchin the forums for awhile on AC covers. I hate my oval one for my night train. I've seen cds, and lots of other stuff. any good ideas for a replacement? I took the oval off and just put the chrome flames cover on top of the filter, so I'm basically runnin an open filter, and I proly shouldn't do that up here in the rain, plus the chrome just dosn't look right.

I've checked HD website, J&P, but nothin really grabs me, so I'm turnin to you guys.

SupI've been in the same boat as you. One of the guys advised me to check out wimmer. They've got some nice stuff. Velocity stacks that have pleated airfilters so you dont suck up debris. Roland sands has some nice stuff also.

Thanks man, that looks awsome on your bike, don't know that it would fit my NT and look good or not. What did you do about the open air filter?

i have the standard s/e backing plate and k&n filter...so it would fit...it's just an end cap[wrinkle black just like everything else on the 'trains]... the filter element is still open

My skull cover comes from azece.com too. It's a really nice piece (I also got a custom engraved primary inspection cover from them). Check them out. They have a lot of stock covers and they do custom engraving as well.

As for the open air cleaner, I have a K&N oiled filter, and I ride in the rain all the time without any problems. I've ridden in hours-long downpours and never even had a hiccup.

Cheers!
