Just fitted an HD combination speedo/tachometer,fitting was easy but unfortunately it came without intructions,supplying dealer forgot to ship them and doesn't have a copy,does anyone know how to adjust the colour of the background illumination,it is adjustable via the trip reset(acc to the catalogue) but I can't sort it,also since fitting the newspeedothe mileage of my bike is permanently displayed,even with the ignition off, is that normal? it didn't do it with my stock speedo....thanks guys

It's always displayed...

 

The mileage is displayed on some bikes but not on all. The newer bikes do show the mileage all the time. My '03 does not, my '07 does.
