Default Flush mounted gas cap and gauge??

I just installed the flush mounted gas cap and gauge, and it looks awesome. Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with it? If so, does HD have a warranty on this product, because they're not exactly cheap. Guess I could just talk to someone at my stealer, but I thought I'd ask you first. Thanks in advance.

I have them on my '07 Softail Standard. No problems so far. I do have a question for you romigula- Where did you find a chrome Voltage Regulator trim piece? The parts guys at my local dealer told me that the one for '01 up softails wouldn't fit '07.....Theysaid that it'd only fit up to '06. Part #74597-01.....Is that what you have?

Anyone put these on a bike older than 2004? The specs say for 2001-2007 EFI bikes and 2004 - 2007 Carb bikes. I have a 2002 Heritage carb. Anyone know why this won't work or how to make it work? The parts guy at my dealership did not know.

I put a set of the flush mounted gas cap and guage on my 07 night train a while back. and about 2 or 3 months after i put them on, i took the cap off to fill the bike up and the whole cap came apart. the bottom of the cap and the spring was sittin down on the fill hole. once i found the o-ring and filled the bike up, i jammed it all back together, and rode to the closet dealer, which happed to shanendowah valley. The rep for harley davidson just happed to be at that dealer, and after a bit of arguing with her, she gave me a new cap and took the old one. since then i havent had any problems, that was about 6 months ago.
