Default Low Profile Tires

I have a 1999 NT, and am thinking that I would like to explore the possibly of putting a low profile tire on the back with a bigger rim. Anyone know where a guy can start looking for the rims and tires? Thanks for any help

Default RE: Low Profile Tires

I did check them out but they don't really say what can be done to a stock bike. My rear tire is about done for and I'm just trying to figure out if I'm gonna go with another stock tire or not. What is the widest that can go under a 1999 without modifing everything? Anyone here put a low profile tire on the back of a 1999 softail?
