Have ordered the smart siren II 68328-06 which is supposed to fit 2003 and up softails. When dismantling my splashguard on the 07 deluxe the cabling and receptor etc looks different than the install pictures. seems that the box is too big and cable length suggests plug in on top instead of the bottom. Don't want to force it in and destroy the plastic clips.

Has anyone successfully installed the siren on a Deluxe? Did I get the wrong part? Thanks guys. Here is how my dilemma looks like:
