Default What Speed at Rev Limit?

At what speed in 4th gear on a 88" VTwin will you hit the rev limit. I'm running a stage 1, so my limit is 6100rpm instead of 5500rpm.

I've never hit the rev limit, but sometimes like this morning, I'll get it on, look down at the speedo and see that I'm shifting into 4th at 55mph, yahoo. This reminds me that these bikes are pretty dang fast if you just, get on it.

I think your rev limit is actually 6200 which would be 120mph in 4th.
6100 would be about 118.

Dang, that's pretty fast for 4th gear.
Thanks for the info,

Well, doesn't mean your bike will do it. Just means that if you can get to 6200 that's what it would be. If you did get there with a stock motor than hit 5th it would probably feel like you hit the brakes.

Since we're on the subject...

At some point I want to install a tach, but until then does anybody know how far (mph) I can push it in each gear without causing damageto an 80" with Stage 1? I tried Google but didn't have much luck.

Crank it as hard as you want. Your rev limter will keep you from hurting it.
