HELP WITH ROTOR BOLTS

HELP WITH ROTOR BOLTS
Yesterday I put my new front wheel on and when I switched the rotor from the old wheel to the new one, the bolts seemed like they bottomed out before they were tight. I muscled them enough to make the rotor tight to the hub but it didn't seem right. Could the bolts for a solid fatboy wheel be different that those for a spoke wheel? Any help would be appreciated.

RE: HELP WITH ROTOR BOLTS
It could very well be that the fatboy disc bolts are slightly longer than the spoked bolts. Call a HD parts dealer and ask them to cross reference the bolts between a solid wheel and a wheel of a Heritage (if that's in fact the wheels you have)
You might be able to run a "bottom"tap down the holes and gain some thread depth.
