Default Will it really be a noticeable power difference??

I just had Vance and Hines Softail Duals installed on my Softail Deluxe, and I am not impressed with the power. I also had the bike dyno tuned, Big Ness Air Kit, and a FuelPak installed.

Would the Big Shots Staggereds give me a noticable power increase, or how about the Big Radius Two into One???

Sorry to tell ya, it doesn't matter what pipes you put on it , you aren't going to gain very much HP. You need some high performance cams, bigger pistons and stroketo really gain some HP.[/align]

That is true, you wont see much gains. Also are you sure you got the Dyna Tune. If you got it from you local HD shop, they probably just did a Dyna map, which is getting a predone map and uploading into the PCIII. They usually charge about an extra $100 (of course HD!!! hundred dollars) to actually sit down and TUNE it to the specific bike, pipes ect......

You will get more power out of a 2>1 than a 2-2.

But a tuning, and stage I will only get your engine running to its current potential, it's still a low-rev, air-cooled, push-rod, counterbalanced engine. It's going to take allot of $$$ make it fast...

With a stage I you can expect, best case mid 80s for tq and high 70s for hp...

A 650+ilb bike won't even start to be "fast" 'till you break the 100hp(not tq) mark... and that will require some work

Yup, My dyno results after V&H Big Shot Longs, SE A/C, SERT was HP=72.9 TQ=86.8
I did notice a big difference in sound and a small difference in performance.

You mention you had a fuel pak and hadit dyno tuned. Does your dealer or indy know how to adjust the fuel pak ? If not you paid for a dyno dune for nothing. Basicly the fuel pak is supposed to be plug & play. What were your numbers on the dyno ? HP & TQ

I agree with most of the comments here, changing pipes on that setup isn't going to give you any noticeable power gains. When I went from stock to stage one I noticed a lot more sound but not a real noticeable seat of the pants increase in power like fireman said.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I did get the dyno tune. I had all this work done at Cycle Visions an Indy in San Diego, good outfit.

I did notice some change in performance, but my question really is this:

Will I notice more change if I go to a different pipe??

For example the big radiius two into one?

No, your not going to get much difference, maybe a little but won't give you a drastic change... By the way, nice bike, nice color choice!!!!!!! Almost looks like mine!! lol
