Default 10000 mile service

Can anyone tell me IN DETAIL what is done for the 10,000 mile service on an 07 Heritage. Dealer's labor rates are getting out of site.
Think I can do most of the work myself but want to make sure everything is done that Harley requires.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Bill in PA (Florida for now)

A lot of dealer sites have a service check list on them as well.

Airy, take a ride to Highland HD in Somerset, PA. They are some of the best around and I believe they charge $340 for the 10K service. Was just there today for my 5K service. That's a nice ride from Somerset to Gettysburg too.

Get a service manual for your bike and a good bike lift and do the work yourself. There is nothing hard or complicated about the 10K service. The service manual is very detailed and what steps are required. If you are still uneasy, purchase the DVD on softails from Fix My Hog for $40. They go thru every step of a service on the softail and explain it all and even get you written instructions in a pdf file so that you can refer to them as you do the service. I have 2 harleys and do all my own service except for the initial 1K one.
