Default Cros Bones Seat

Can any one tell me the height of the springs on the Cross Bones as mines on order, and I was wondering if you could replace the harley ones with short custom ones

I wish I could tell you the spring height, but my spring seat is in my storage unit. You can change out the springs on the seat though. I have an extra set from my last bob seat that I am going to swap with. I'm not sure when/if I'll get around to putting the factory seat back on, but I think the shorter springs will definitely be an improvement.

No problem. I bought my last set of springs from an eBay store for around $8. Good luck!

I measured them for you on a Cross Bones sitting in the showroom at my dealer, and they're 2 3/4" tall, end-to-end. The dealer said there's a provision for changing the height of the springs. I hope this is so, because when I sat on it, my light weight (144) didn't depress the springs
at all and I kept wanting to slide forward.

For some reason, a lady in sales told me the springs couldn't be changed. I just said alright, and left it at that. I see no reason why the springs couldn't be changed on that seat.
