Default question about a new rim!!

I have a 07 deuce with a stock rim i believe its 17x 5.5. my question is if i buy a rim that is 17x6.5 is the 6.5 inch at the hub or is it the rim width? Thanks for the advice!!

I'm pretty sure thatthe Duece has a 4.5" wide wheel. The extra width is the rim, not the hub. You'll have to space the sprocket/pulley or whatever you wanna call it. A 6.5" rim and appropriately sized tireis never gonna fit under the stock fender.

ok thanks, i did buy a new rear fender that says will fit a 200,so hopefully that will work. Another question is are all the mounting holesfor the pulley and the disk standard amoung the rims or the different styles of harleys or am i going to worry about my stuff not mounting to this rim. The rim is off ebay and iam tring to get more info on it!
