Default Lowering my Heritage Softail

What is the best way to lower my Heritage to get the best bang for the buck and the good ride?

Progressive 422 are your best shock for the $. bettter dampening and spring rate than stock HD = better ride and handling. They will adjust from stock to a little more than 2" lower than stock.

I have them on my bike and it is lowered about 1" and it rides better than it did with stock shocks at stock height.
