installing gimps on my bone?
my 16" nash gimp hangers just came in for my crossbones. my question is how hard are they to install? (rewire, longer cables etc.). i've never worked on bikes before, but i am somewhat mechanically inclined. (i'm a plumber service and install boilers, water heaters etc.) i do have a service manual for guidance. are there any detailed walkthroughs on the web for additional assistance or should i just pay a pro to do it? i would really like to attempt this my self but on the same hand i don't want to screw anything up. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

RE: installing gimps on my bone?
if so just take the factory plugs off the old wires put it on the new wires make sure you pay attention to the color code. you will probably need new idle and throttle cables and a new brake line. simple install . make sure you put a towel over your fuel tank when you do the removal. trust me youll thank me later

j&p cycles and dennis kirk both sell wiring harness extensions so that you don't have to cut and spice your wires.
