Default fuelpak install on night train

I am trying to install the V&H fuelpak on my 06 nightrain but the instructions & what i am seeing on my bike don't seem to jibe. Instructions say to flatten metal tabs that I can't find that hold relay box. It looks to me that there are 3 plastic clips holding relay box. I don't want to cut these clips & find out I made a big mistake. Anybody been thru this? I know I am probably missing something simple here.

I think that metal piece is pulled out on my bike and the fuelpak rides just infront of my ECM.

Yes i had the same on my 07 Fatboy. I left the bracket there because there was a opening under the relays for the cable to go from the fender well to the battery area. I think this was done for the remote alarm option. I mounted mine where the alarm would have gone. The metal tabs are there on the bracket and you need to slide a screw driver between the bracket and the relay to release the relay. There ate only 2 and not three. I would recommend not removing it as it serves no purpose on your model. I did see a post with pictures on this forum.
