Default A few questions about the Progressive 422's.

I'm looking to put a set of 422's onmy Fatboy. I like the look of a slammed bike, so want to drop the rear about 1.5" but I'm worried that I might
have some trouble riding two up. I'm a lover of the finer things in life (aka beer and hot wings) and riding two up will put the load at about 375lbs.
Can the perload be set to help keep the rear from bottoming out on the bumps and if so when I go solo will the stiff ride kick my butt?
also can the ride hight be adjusted with the shocks on the bike? Am I just asking too much of the 422's maybe an air ride system like the Arnott system
is closer to what I need (but way off price wise).
thanks for any help in advance, Spider424

Default RE: A few questions about the Progressive 422's.

I'm about 215...wifey is 135...and the Progressive 422's made the difference for us.
The pre load can be adjusted on the bike.
We don't bottom out anymore.
My Standard is a little lower in the rear, but not slammed.
I could tell right away by having to lean a hair to the right to get the jiffey stand up or down
so it doesn't scrape.
I am pleased with the shocks, well worth the money in MHO.

Hope this helps..
Ride safe, and often
