Default Fatboy Slipons

Hey, Anyone have any experiance with these? My Sceamin Eagle slipons are lookin blue on the top pipe. I don't have the spare cash layin around right now for a complete exhaust system so thought about these to go on my headpipes. Why do I see a lot of the upper pipes turn blue but not the lower one? Thanks Mark

Default RE: Fatboy Slipons

Have someone ride behind you on the highway. See if that pipe is getting cherry red. Mine does, and for the life of me, I can't figure it out. Someone told me it may not be getting enough fuel, but I've rejetted from 190/48 (was like this when I bought it) to 200/48. Changed the carb boot (cracked so all my decel popping is gone). But my top SE II slip-on is turning a light brown/gold color at the welding point where the pipe gets larger. Got some Blue Job and it took it right off. I have a set of BRAND NEW SE II slip-ons that are slash cut laying around. Never been used. I have baloney cut on my FatBoy. Let me know if you're interested in them, and maybe we can work something out.

They were for a 99 Softail, but I'm sure they'll work with other models as long as you have the stock head pipes and mounts.
