I have an 07 Fatboy, need some kind of storage for bike for longer trips by bike is not set up for saddle bags or sissy bars, is there any other kind of bags I could use that doesn't take the look away from bike?

Well when you go on a trip the look of the bike isnt as important as what you can get on it, when i got on trips I got my bags on, mysissy bar w/ the T-Bag on it, & I have a duffel on the passenger seat (Unless the wife goes) They make detachable stuff for softails bags & sissy bars & stuff, but for me its take out 4 bolts & the bike is good to go stripped for the street, which i how I ride it most of the time

Exactly my dilemma at one time! I went with Boss Bags and matching trunk. I love the look with them on and love the look with them off! It is like having a stealth bagger. Don't need the bags for those short day trips, but if I need some storage for the longer trips and those shopping trips to the dealer for new clothes with the wife they do come in handy!! I'll try and get some pics loaded, I have not taken any pics with my latest mods recently.

I am ordering a La Rosa swingarm saddlebag for everyday use, but I have a detachable sissy bar and a pretty good size tailbag for long trips.I travel light, so everything I need for a week or longer trip I can fit in my tailbag. I run withthe tailbag sitting on the passenger seat, so it doubles as a driver's backrest. I just strap my tent to the other side of the tail bag and put my sleeping bag on top and I am good to go. I can ride another 3+hours that way.
