Default Kuryakyn swing arm cover question

Any one put one of these on there 07 Heritage? If so, what’s the secret to putting on the right phantom cover? There is not enough room to put it on after I install the mounting bracket.
Thank you,
Earl

There's not a cotter pin in the way, is there (that may need to be bent around the axel nut)?

I didn't have any problem with mine. Hold it in the position it belongs and then move it around a little. Whatever is holding you up will leave a scratch inside.

this is the problem. when i install the mounting bracket it doesn't leave enough room to slide the phantom cover on.

You need to use a grinder to remove some of the material. See the photo
