RE: floorbaords 2003 fxst
I did it last year. It was very simple really.I just used the same floorboard parts for a Heritage Softail. I got the floorboards and inserts at the Dealer and I bought the mounting brackets on eBay.
I am still using the OEM brake pedal which needs to be changed out. The width of the thing comes into contact with the floorboard mount if I brake really hard.
I'll go take a couple of pics and post them for ya.
I have an 03 FXSTBI Train. Since I put the floorboards on it, I quit calling it a Night Train and now call it a Thin Boy..hahahahahahahaha.

They're not the best pics, but hey, it's short notice
This is the clearance between the mount and the brake pedal when a good amount of brake pressure is applied.
I still stop without any problem but if I had to really jam on the binders, I would be needing another quarter inch of travel.
I'm still researching a new one. Kuryakin has one I think.
Don't pay any attention to the legs in the top left. That's Britney in her Catholic School Girl outfit. Since I got married,
she's the only skank allowed to ride with me. The sacrafices we all have to make....hahahahahaha
The right side took longer to do because of the rear brake master cylinder, but it was fairly easy.
Don't quote me on this but the softail frames are pretty much all the same from 00 to 06 and Heritage stuff will go on a Train frame no problem.
I haven't seen a good "What Fits What" manual in a couple of decades.... Dammit. [:@]
