Default deal says my 2006 is efi
ok i just got a 2006 soft tail standard and the dealer says its is a EFI ... but all the spec sheet show only the carb.

is it possibile to be a 2006 efi

I cant speak for the Standard, but my 06 Heritage is efi.

Do you have to wait for a little whirring noise and a light on the dash to go off before you start it? If so, probably EFI. The dealer should have given you (or at least offered to give you) some instructions on starting, running, etc., when you bought. The choke **** is also a good sign it's carbed.

Foregoing all the wiseguy comments...

FXST = Carb

FXSTI = EFI

If you don't believe your dealer, look at the 7th character of the VIN.

Y = carb

B = EFI
