RE: crossbones seat
I posted this in another thread, but it fits here too;
"Before you change that seat, spend some time in it. I really like it. I have spent 3 straight hours on my new crossbones a few times now and no butt burn. If you are just about riding around town I guess it doesn't matter. But if you plan on doing some trips you will be happy with it. I think it is the size, giving you lots of room to move around andthe springs. I live on Vancouver Island and it seems like we have nothing but tight, twisty roads with bad pavement - the bike works great andit sure does not feel like it weighs 700+ pounds. The reason I have done those long rides is that the time just flies by. I start out thinking I am going for an hour, next thing I know I am 2 hours into it and an hour from home. Love the bike."
