New seat for heritage classic, what will fit on it
I have a '03 heritage classic and am looking at buying a new seat for it as it got a slit in it somehow.
Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone knows if later model years, or later model regular heritage seats will fit on it. I found a used 2006 heritage seat that looks similar, but I'm not sure if it will fit

Does your stock seat mount to the fender or on the sides to the frame.
On my 06 Heritage (non classic), there are 3 holes in the fender for the seat. The 2 that are forward are for the rear of the riders seat and the front of the p-pad. The 3rd is for the rear of the p-pad.
I sometimes run an 02 Heritage classic seat. It mounts to the frame (as opposed to the fender). The rear fender mount for the p-pad is the same.
Not sure that this helped you. The point is that the 02 seat would fit on my 06, but my 06 seat will not work on the 02 because the 02 it came off of has no holes in the fender. Make sense?
