Default boss trunk bags

Anyone have the boss trunk bag. I was thinking of grtting one for my deluxe and just wanted to know the quality and userbility. I just need it for a light jacket and cell phone. And of course the items I PICK UP WHEN VISITING A HARLEY DEALER.

Boss bags makes top quality stuff. I dont think you could go wrong with any of thier products. There are less expensive options out there that offer just as good quality though, like leather pros www.leatherpros.com

I really like my boss bags (36's), if I would do it again I'd go with the 38's. I have looked at the truck bags but think I will go with a T-Bag on the passengers backrest.

I agree, Quality and usability are AWESOME.
I had originally ordered the medium size,
but decided I wanted the largest one and they were great to exchange it with no hassels at all.

But Leather Pro have a better (easier to use [take off and on]) mounting system.

I have just gotboss bags and trunk. Haven't used the bags yet, made some brackets to hold the bottoms in place they aregetting chromed now but have used the trunk. They seem well made andlook good onthe bike.I am waiting for a couple of other things to come back from powder coating then if I can figure out how to get some pictures on here I will

Thank you for your help, If you guys or gals can post pics. with witch size trunk bag you have it will make it easy for me to decide on witch one to buy. I know leather pros have a better mounting system butI figured with the boss bags sandwitch mount I can send the bolts up insted of down through the bag and use wing nuts inside the bag both for easy on and off and for security. If the nuts are inside the bag and the bag is locked it can't be stolen.

I have the number 70 bag.
At the time I had the hard HD saddle bags and couldn't get the side pouches on the trunk because of the way my lids opened up on the saddle bags. If I had known that I was changing saddle bags I would have gotten the side pouches too.

You could use regular nutson the bottom and nobody could steal it, because the bolts would turn, seeing how the bolt heads would be inside the bag and they couldn't get a wrench on them to hold the bolt.

I went ahead a got the larger 16" wide #70 bag because I had trouble getting a full face helmet throught the door on the 14" wide#66 bag.
It would go through the #66, but it slides in easily on the 16" wide #70 bag.
I don't really know why that made a difference, I don't wear a full size helmet. LOL

Seeing both in person on the same day, I went with the LeatherPros bag. Better attachment system and has a postive locking system rather than a padlock. It also has a an quick detachment system.
