Default Pipes & Vibrations

I was told by a friend that if I add aftermarket pipes (Vance & Hines Big Radius) and the Stage 1 kit that my bike will not ride as smooth. Is that true? Are there any negative affects? He tells me that after he added his that his bike vibrated much more. Any input will be apreciated. Thanks guys.

If I have the time today I will be putting Samson exhaust and a PCIII on my '07Softail Custom and I will see if she vibrates any more then before.

Rode my bike for the first time today after installing the Samson pipes and I did notice a little vibration but nothing unbearable, it might have to due with losing the connecting pipe between the front and rear exhaust, it might also be not having my bike dyno tuned yet..

Wow, I guess I got lucky. I put on a set of SE II's, didn't notice any change. Then I put on a V&H ProPipe, again, no difference in engine vibration.

I agree with Deadgod, however I have Rush slip ons with 2.25 baffles, se a/c and sert and haven't noticed any vibration increase over stock [ alot better throttle response, and better sound though ].

I want it loud but I didnt want to sacrifice the ride quality....

I got the Vance & Hines Big Radius Pipes Installed along with the High Flow Air Intake and the HD Download. It sounds bad azz. Just like a Harley should sound. No new vibrations to speak of. It looks and sounds great.
