I am looking for saddlebags for my 2005 Fatboy and like the new Cross Bones bag, but the catalogue says they will not fit a FLSTF. Has anyone tried these?

I'm thinking that they won't fit a Fatboy with stock exhaust because they hang toolow. I have VH Bigshots staggered exhaust. Anyone know why they wouldn't fit.

You would also probably have to relocate the turn signals to make them work. But that is just a guess.

Thanks for the response. I have relocated my turn signals for a detachable sissy bar so I think those should be out of the way. I'm just trying to understand if there are other issues.

 

I would think your fine unless your struts are different than a softtail with the bobtail fender....hey where are you in MN???
