Cross Bones rear tire kicking up water onto rider
I was just wondering if any body else was having water being thrown up onto the back of the fender and up the riders back and head when they hit a little water on the road, and if this is a common problem with bob fender or 200mm tire or both, I been riding a 79 flh for the past 20 yrs and maybe spoiled with the full rear fender. Oh sorry I forgot what did you do to help prevent the problem if you did have it. Thanks in advance for any help.

yep lived in oregon for 30 years and almost any fender other than a full blown ugly one will throw water. my solution was to move to so cal and not ride in water.. it's been working for me for over 30 years now except last summer when I rode to oregon..yep rained..

i don't see it as a problem, just a part of the game. try ridin my bike in the rain!!! so, what if you get a little wet. it's all part of the fun.
yeah, i love the question, "what do you do when it rains?" my response, "uh...i get wet."

So I guess I will just ride the electric glide on damp days, to bad it would of been nice to have a choice, in ohio you do a lot of riding between the down pours, i think it just sucks though knowing your going to get wet when theres any kind or moisture on the roads.
