Default Floating Rotors

I just went down and ordered my new wheels and pulley for my 2008 Fat Boy. They talked me into adding new rotors too. They said the floating rotors are far better than the stock rotors. Is that true? What are the pros and cons performance wise? Thanks Guys.

Default RE: Floating Rotors

floating rotors over stock rotors... heh sure thing... but so are most after market rotors better than _stock_

HD brakes are not so good... but the new Brembo brakes on the 08 touring line are nice

Of course ull want matching rotors and a pulley for your new wheels, if they offer floating ones that match..
guess why not...

I upgraded my calipers and then the pads in them first.. then got wheels, tires(avons) and new 2 piece non-floating rotors and a matching pulley
