Default Changing paint set

On an EVO Fatboy, how do you change the rear fender without removing the rear tire? Where do you disconnect the wiring to the tail light and turn signals? Can this be done without removing the rear tire?

Mine's an 03 but the plug was under the seat for the rear lights. I unpluged it and then removed the bolts that hold the fender struts and fender to the frame supports and then took the others that hold the fender strut to the fender off on a bench. I did all that and removed my oil tank without removing the rear tire.

I just changed out the rear fender on my 02 Heritage Springer... Didn't have to take the tire off...You will have to jack it up to get at the bolts...And the post above me is correct. Take off the seat. Taillight and directionals are plugged into the harness. With a small pic you should be able to lift out the pins to re-use the wiring.

I have an EVO Fatboy. The plug for the tail light and turn signals is one plug located under the seat...to the rear of the battery...on the drivers side (I think).

Why do you need to do this without removing the rear tire? It's a lot easier with the tire gone.

The plug is in fact a white molex 6 pin (5 are used) connector under the seat.
