Default black denim paint

anyone know if the black denim paint is easier or harder to take care of than the regular glossy paints. it might be too late for me since im picking my new bike up on saturday and it is black denim. so i guess this is a "cart before the horse" question. any recommendations on cleaning would be appreciated

I love the look of the denim finish, but it isn't truly flat paint. It is regular paint with a dull clear coat. I have a friend with a black denim Street Bob and the sides of his tank, right in front of the seat, have become polished to a shine from his jeans rubbing on it. Other than that, it is supposed to be really easy to take care of.

extremely low maintenance. windex and a rag and your good.

one of the main reasons i went with a night train - more ride time, less polishing.

btw, congrats on the purchase.

You'll love it. I wish I had the denim on my train. I had the denim on my old street bob and loved it.

Very easy, looks great.

...and it is supose to pick up some rub marks too, over time, adds character.

im really glad to hear that, i am starting to get excited. took my wife to the stealer to see the bike for the first time(after i bought it) and it was torn apart getting the engine work done. she laughed at me and asked where the rest of it was. shes a lil pissed since im coming out of a black/orange se ultra. guess she'll get over it. i post pics as soon as its in the driveway
