Fuelpak settings with S&S Single Bore Tuned Intake?
I've done a search on the board for this and did not come up with anything... I'm getting ready to install a new S&S Single Bore Tuned Intake A/C kit on my FLSTSCi (Springer) which I'm currently running a K&N High-flow A/C,V&H Fishtail Slipons w/o baffles, and the V&H Fuelpak. I'm guessing I will need to tweak the codes on my Fuelpak to adjust for the increased airflow that the S&S intake should produce. Anyone who has done this, or knows which codes may need to be changed please let me know. Hard to get a hold of K&N tech help and not sure they will know any how.
Thanks,
jmc

RE: Fuelpak settings with S&S Single Bore Tuned Intake?
I got the S&S intake on this evening without any real problems. Only issue was with the gasket they supplied which didn't fit the stock bare throttle bodyso I used the gasket that I had with my K&N and it sealed up great. The gasket supplied with the S&S mounting bracket did not fit at the mounting holes and would have been distorted leaving gaps had I tried. Like I said, no problem as I reused my existing gasket and got a great seal.
Man she really breathes now. You can just hear the air it's sucking in through the dual filters. It also really changed the tone of my exahust - gave it a deeper sound but when the throttle is open it can be heard a long way out - let a buddy take it for a spin so I could hear it from the street (first time). I made no changes to my Fuelpak settings. I want to see how she runs a bit before messing with it. I may have already talked myself into it, but it feels like I picked up some noticeable low-end power. 3rd gear keeps going strong to 50 mph. No decel popping either which I had occasionally with K&N A/C. Lastly, the S&S intake looks totally bad ***.
