I love the look of 80-100 Spoke wheels , & the FAT SPOKE look? Has anyone put aftermarket wired wheels on their Night Train or Softail & can you post a pic......

I like them too. I just bought some HD 80 spoke wheels for my Heritage Classic. Once I found that I could save $300 per wheel buying new old stock from HD dealers on Ebay, it made it easy to choose the HD 80 spokes over the 100 spokes or fat spokes I liked from third party manufacturers such as www.americanwire.com. Check your Harley item numbers and compatible model years... I understand the last 2 digits (after the hyphen) refer to the year they were made. I bought -04's for $400 each as opposed to the $700 each they retail for. Dealers are blowing them out. They haven't arrived yet. I'll be taking pics when I get 'em on the bike. Can't wait to sell my smoothies. They're great rims, but IMO not old school enough for the Heritage Classic. They look great on the Deluxe, etc. though.

The bummer is you paid extra for those profile laced rims.

Sell them on ebay or here. Perhaps someone is looking for a set.

Yeah, I know. I wanted the black Heritage Classic and my local shop only had one coming in, with profile rims. I plan on selling 'em on eBay to help recup the cost of my new rims.

BTW... Nice Heritage. My hub cap's comin' off too.
