As long as the oil in the tank stays at or below 250 you should be fine. Change to synthetic and it will drop some just from that and it can handle more heat longer than normal dino oils.
Add a PCIII, SERT, or other fuel management system that will let you richen up the fuel mixture a little and it will go down some more. The 07's are notorious for running hot becasue of the EPA mandates. Get a Stage 1 setup and download and it will run better/cooler.

Here is something from the Service manual page 3-13: "oil temerature should be at normal operating temperature 230 deg F for an accurate reading" (of oil pressure).
No reference for ambient temp for the 230 deg value found. Nothing for single or two up found.
