RE: Battery Tender Pigtail
I brought mine out under the frame and between the oil tank just in front of the oil filler neck. I tucked the slack in the area in front of the battery where the frame forks. I then brought the plug out and faced it towards the rear of the bike. I used a zip tie to hold it in place. I may be able to post a pic later this weekend. I just wanted to make sure the seat would not sit on the wire.

TnHarley7,
The fuse set up for the vest is very different from that of the charger.
I looked it up when I bought the electric jacket and gloves. I wish I remembered which way, but either your vest will overdraw and pop the fuse or the vest will only work half power. Either way, I ran a separate line after reading up on it. (then forgot exactly why).

Have mine installed on the left side. I can tuck it behind the coil when not in use. I think it depends on which side you plan to have the charger on. My bench and plugs are on the left. The pig tail is a standard two-prong plug for trailer harnesses at the hardware store. You can make up your own connectors for anything that need 12vlts for your bike.
