Default Air filter on heritage is not stock, no idea what it is and stock filter wont fit in its place

I have a 2003 heritage classic injected model.

I bought the bike last summer, never changed the air filter before. I went through the hd service manual and found the stock filter and picked it up.

Today I took of the air filter cover and was surprised with a large circular air filter. I have no idea what kind it is, on the metal part of the filter, where it bolts on its saysm " for HD Twin Cam covers only"

Filter is circular, front measures 5 1/2" across, back is 6 1/2 inches and is 21/2 inches tall.

Also the part on my bike where the filter and cover mount is not what is shown in the service manual. The stock HD filter I have has no way to attach.

I have no clue what this filter is, its oily so I thought maybe its K&N but I went to their site and air filter is same shape as harley I have.

Any suggestions?

Take a picture of said filter and post it. Pictures always help.

I will in a bit, not home right now.
But I searched the harley website, looks like a screamin eagle one.

Im about 99% sure its a screamin eagle filter.

Do you clean these out and oil them? Trying to find info on them

The RK-3909 is the entire mounting kit, I dont need that.

I'm pretty sure the hd-0800 is the K&N filter I need.
$53 thru k&N. any other good places to buy them? I thought I read autozone lets you order them, but re they cheaper than the K&N site?

K&N filters require their oil sprayed on the filter element.

Are you sure you aren't looking at a K&N Filter?

If it is a K&B,it's probably oiled and may only needto becleaned.

If it has white material its the oil less. If its red then its an oiled model, also if it is white make sure it doesn't have a blue ring around the smaller end and you can replace it with a K&N Part # HD-0800 from K&N or Harley. Hope this helps... Ride Safe.
