Default Who has Kuryakyn chrome handlebar controls, brake, clutch, etc.

I am replacing the stock handlebars on my 08 fatboy with 12.5" apes and I want to chrome out the handlebar controls, etc at the same time. Anyone have the Kuryakyn chrome handlebar stuff and can speak to the quality compared to harley? My dealership has a 20% off special this month on everything kuryakyn and I was considering getting new ISO floorboards, passenger floorboards, iso grips, chrome switch housings, chrome brake and clutch controls, ellipse mirrors, etc.

Or should I just spring for the complete harley kit for the handlebars? I think it is like $500 bucks. I can get 10% off on that.

I've got all the Kury stuff - no complaints. Works good, looks good, easy to install.

You should be good with either Kuryakyn or HD. I'd say go for the best price between the two.

Another option is to look for someone that does chrome plating. Have a guy near me that will do OEM exchange control kits for $179. They are OEM HD parts that are chromed. You give him your black and he gives you chrome.

There are some other no-name kits (on Ebay) that you can get your hands on for under $130. However, they don't always fit. I've bought 2 different kits that way and had problems with each one. Best bet is to pay a little more and get good stuff.

Get the Harley Versions. No fitment issues and good quality.

Just my 2 cents...

I have Kuryakyn chrome switch housings. awesome quality, and half the cost of HD housings...

I have Drag Specialties chrome hand controls. Again awesome quality and fit, and a lot less then HDunits....
