good thread
what do you look for in a dyno ... engine break? .., ..., ?
how many miles should the engine have on in first, or does that make no difference?
what do you ask for if there are any diff ways of actually doing the dyno?

You gotta be happy with that, either graph. That's the kind of power that really makes these things fun to ride.

i have 103+ heads wood tw6h cams 45 mm SE carb vance and hines pro-pipe SE 10:5-1 pistons SE adjustable ignition set on 3rd curve with spark adv +2 and as for what to look for. i'm no expert but my dyno dude told me there are like 5 diff way to peeps calculate HP/TQ STD or standard is the way most do it then SAE has something to do with Automotive Experts and like with cars if they put HP numbers on a production car SAE is the body that say YES this engine does do that and WE certify all engines coming of this line will do that. from what i can tell SAE really is the closest to true HP/TQ numbers because when my dyno dude showed me my numbers using all of the diff ways to calculate EURO, SAE, STD etc SAE was the closest to all the rest STD consistently showed +3 more HP/TQ than others. most dyno people use STD becuase they want their customers to go WOW look at my numbers. like i said im no expert but even the SAE reading of 105 HP 113 tQ my bike just CRANKS from about 3000 rpms 80mph in 5th friggin thing just gets GONE YAAAAHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOO!!!!! ride it like ya stole it!!!
