Default Radio for a Deluxe

Would really like to have a radio feature like my husbands FLHX. Does anybody have any input on how to convert or modify my 07 Deluxe so I can listen to tunes? Thx.

I was considering doing the same thing with my Deluxe. It had been suggested to use these guys http://www.cyclesounds.com/ It's a quality setup without the outrageous cost and ugliness of having the big boxes that have everything enclosed.

If you decide to do something pleae post some pictures of how you have everything set up. Post some in the Deluxe pictures thread too so all of us can scope it out.

Good luck!

Try these guys too:

I'm really looking for something that will let me get rid of the IPOD earplug. A small batwing type offairing would be OK, butI would really like to not change the lines. Will keep you in the loop.

I used J&M Speakers, The sound is alot better than alot of them and you have a volume control. I looked along time and by far that was the best without going to the big box radio. I have Fm Satellite and I tell you, it makes those long rides alot better...

Barney, do you mean www.cyclegadgets.com ? Are these the speakers you're talking about http://www.cyclegadgets.com/Products...sp?Item=JM-SPK

Those bad boys are a little more pricey than the cyclesounds ones http://www.cyclesounds.com//index.ph...;products_id=2

The cyclesounds relocates the amplifier so the speakers are smaller on the handlebars. I guess it depends on whether you want larger or smaller speakers up there.

I have the ones from cycle gadjets (J&M). When I bought them, I looked at both and the sound quality is no comparison between the two. They are big but you dont have to mount them on the bars by the controls, you can mount themon the bottomby the neck or risers. It works really well with a windshield but without it at highway speeds, they are hard to hear. Thats with the J&M's which are twice as loud as the others. I really like my radio. I think J&M came out with new speakers that are smaller with the amp seperate. And yes, the system is pricey but look at all and compare price and sound
