Anybody have any input on "riggin" an07touring cruise control on a 07 Deluxe?

My x-bones has a set screw under the throttle, just as good as cruise control

 

The baggers (FLHX) have a great system cruise (Harley), sure would like to be able to intigrate that type of system.

 

It can be done but the cost runs about $1000.00 at least for my older 2003 Injected Fatboy. It is more cost effective to learn to use the set screw to relieve the spring pressure when cruising down the hiway. Or you could look at the Kuryakin Magna cruise thing.

 

BE warned, the cruise control only works to 85 MPH.

 

$1000 buck is cheap for me! It's for my wife's bike and YOUdon't have to livewith the grief I do (my bike has cruise control!). Who does the mod?

 

Just do a google search for Softail Cruise Control and Cruise Mount and Customized cycles come up. I have heard of Cruise Mount before be the rest are new.
