Default EASY BRACKETS & BAG QUESTION

I really like the simplicity of the Easy Bracket install, they look nice, easy & well made. Now what BAGs can I use with these- or will it fit any bag? ALso who makes a HEAVY DUTY LEATHER saddlebag....?

I just installed the easybrackets on my 08 FXSTC and love them. The bags I'm using I bought from my local HD dealer, and were the throw over bags I just removed the center section and bolted them to the brackets. For my own peace of mind I got some thin alluminum and painted them blak to blend in and attached it to the back of the bag for added support. The bags say The Leather Works Stockton, CA. Good luck

You might also try www.leatherneckjim.com

He makes great bags at affordable pricesand usually cuts you a deal on the Easy Brackets. Have his bags on my Dyna and they're holding up very well.

I used a set of saddlemensoft bags. they have semi rigid backs to them. I was concernedaboutthe bolts pulling through and thedurablity of the"plastic" backing. So I went to the local metalshop. I had cut a cardboard templet of what size I needed and had them cutsheet aluminum to fit.(could have done it myself, but all my tools areat another location). I sandwiched the backing of the bags between the easy brackets and the sheet metal. Worked like a charm. I've used them for two years and no issues. Just my$.02 worth. I love the easy brackets. I installed them on an 06 Train
