Good day to all...I ride a 99 carburated Softail standard that I bought used and have come to find out the previous owner had upgraded the points to a crane HI-4 electronic system...when she starts she runs great however when I'm done riding there is like a cutoff switch or something happening within an hour or two after riding. The starter will crank up great but she just won't fire off. wait a third hour and she fires off and runs great.

I do know that it has the stock ignition module under the seat and was wondering if the crane electronics are too much for it.

doubt they are too much for it, but definitely sounds like you need a new ignition. Almost sounds like it is getting real hot and shutting down.
