Default Roland Sands Velocity stack intake

has anybody used the Roland Sands Velocity stack intake? http://www.rolandsands.com/HTML/Inta...cityStack.html
If so, what are your thoughts? How does it perform? How does it compare to a heavy breather or stage 1 air cleaner?

thanks

people have different views on running V. Stacks..some say that the lack of filter will harm the engine... others run them, i wanted one for my night train but was talked into the big sucker by machanic over SE

WOW, I love the look of them.

Please someone give me some info on this.

I would be worried that something might get sucked into the motor, is there or can you put a filter in these things ?.

thanks, that is the info i needed.

also, i was looking at the RSD pipe you have, did you have to remove the passenger foot pegs? if so, is there anyway to use them (new bracket or something)?

thanks

Sorry Dude but the tracker is strictly for SOLO riders, plus it's a little on the HOT side I've learned how to not burn my leg after a couple of burnt pants. Not on fire but HOT!

Hey rocker did you notice and HP/TQ difference when you put those pipes on? How do they sound compared to other 2 into 1 pipes? I love the look of them but I ride 2 up a lot. I contacted the sands shop and they are going to offer something to move the passenger peg.

Anytime you open up both ends of any motor to gain air flow
HP and Tourque usually go up as long as the fuel gets good management.
Sound is pretty subjective, best description is typical HD sound when cruising,
however @ WFO she let's you know she's down there! It's a great sound.
